[Miles Away]

In the post-photographic era swept by artificial intelligence, our consciousness is infinitely close to form, and the distance between consciousness and the real world has become subtle. The younger generation, in particular, is not simply confused about life but also unable to truly appreciate the significance of many things due to a diminished commitment to nature, society, and human interaction. We are so full of energy, so eager to satisfy our desires and spiritual deficits, that we devote almost no time to the trivial ‘consciousness’ of everyday life. We don’t see or care how everything around us exists, changes, and disappears. The habits we have acquired in the virtual world allow us to abstract reality and capture it as a strange portrait. It is in this context that I appreciate the interest in capturing the ‘real image’ and the importance of movement and action.
